What's new at Unit: Revolving credit, international payments, and RTP
Over the past few weeks, we've expanded Unit's Platform with three major releases: revolving credit, international payments, and real-time payments.
All three run on our native ledger and are managed through the same dashboard companies already use for accounts, cards, and payments. Teams can track balances, transactions, and payment statuses in one place, so companies can offer more to their customers without stitching together separate infrastructure for every new capability.
Revolving credit: More ways to offer capital
Teams can now offer eligible business customers revolving lines of credit directly inside their products. Your customers can draw funds from a credit line, carry balances between billing cycles, and repay over time. You can attach physical or virtual cards or let customers move funds directly to connected accounts. You can shape the credit program and customer experience around your customers’ specific use cases.
International payments: Reach 190+ countries and territories
You can now enable your customers to send international payments to bank accounts in more than 190 countries and territories through the SWIFT network. Your customers can review exchange rates, fees, and recipient amounts before sending money, with visibility into payment status throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Real-time payments: Send and receive money in seconds
Your customers can now send and receive Real-Time Payments (RTP) in seconds, 24/7/365, including weekends and holidays. Payments move through a direct connection to The Clearing House RTP network, with no intermediary processor. They run through the same Payments API, native ledger, and dashboard as other payment rails on Unit, with network-level transaction data and payment statuses to support automated workflows and reconciliation.
More to come
These releases extend the ways technology companies can store, move, spend, and lend money on Unit. Our focus remains the same: giving partners the building blocks to offer any financial product to their customers and the managed operations to run them.
