Your customers send checks to a dedicated lockbox address. Checks are collected, digitized daily, and deposited at banks via Unit’s deposit APIs, flowing through the same infrastructure as your other payments.

For platforms already using Unit for accounts, cards, and money movement, adding lockbox services means:

• Faster deposits, less manual work for your customers. Checks are collected and deposited daily instead of sitting in a mailroom or waiting to be scanned.

• No new infrastructure. Lockbox deposits use Unit's existing check deposit APIs. Funds are reflected in the same dashboard, alongside ACH, wire, and card transactions.
