Answer

In general, cryptocurrency is a prohibited business per our banking agreements. Exceptions have previously been granted for:

  • Reward programs involving certain cryptocurrencies
  • Crypto wallets in order to generate yield; and
  • Crypto-related investment vehicles.

Considering making crypto or crypto-related features available to your customers? They must first be approved by Unit and your bank partner. Talk to your account executive or customer success manager to learn more.
